Why do I have to install the button?
You DON’T. Type in roohit.com before any URL such as roohit.com/yahoo.com and invoke the highlighter. The button merely types in roohit.com making it easy for you.
If I install the button, isn’t that a download?
No, it will not run anything on your computer. It simply types roohit.com before the URL for you. It does not do anything else and will have no effect on how your computer runs.
If you do not require a sign-up, how does it work?
You can just use the login/password of your existing email ID on yahoo, hotmail, Gmail or many others and start highlighting.
Does Rooh.It work with images or videos?
No, Rooh.It works only with text.
Can I change the highlighting color?
Yes, simply click on the toolbar at the bottom of your browser, select the Rooh.It icon and choose your color.
Why does it not work with my e-mail, or other logged-in accounts such as Hotmail?
By design: it is is a web-tool intended to work only inside your Internet browser. If the site requires a username/password then the information there must be confidential. We therefore do not allow any public highlighting on such areas of the WWW.
Similarly if a site is using a secure (https) connection, we do not allow public highlights.
We do have solutions that will work in all of the above scenarios. Please contact us to get these premium solutions for your web-site or for yourself.
